Full Driveway & Patio Redesign in Accrington

We recently completed this full driveway, side access, patio and back patio installation in Accrington, transforming the outdoor areas around the property into clean, practical and attractive spaces.

The customer wanted the driveway, side access, front entrance, patio and back patio fully upgraded. The existing areas included tired paving, lawn, uneven surfaces and older garden features, so the project required careful preparation and a complete new installation from front to back.

Excavation & Ground Preparation

The project began with the removal of the existing surfaces and preparation of the driveway, side access, patio and back patio areas.

We excavated and cleared the required sections before preparing the ground for the new paving, sleeper beds and driveway finish.

Careful attention was given to the levels throughout the project to ensure each area connected properly, from the driveway and front entrance through the side access and into the rear patio area.

Driveway, Side Access & Front Entrance

The driveway was fully upgraded to create a smart and practical entrance to the property.

At the front door, we installed a 1.5 metre Indian sandstone circle, creating an attractive entrance feature leading from the stepping stones. This was finished with neat edging and planting to give the front of the property a clean and welcoming appearance.

The side access was also upgraded with Indian sandstone paving, creating a durable walkway between the front and rear of the property.

Raised Sleeper Flower Beds & Planting

As part of the installation, we supplied and installed raised sleeper flower beds along the boundary areas.

These sleeper beds provide structure, height and definition while creating dedicated planting areas. The beds were finished with plants to add colour and character to the completed project.

Indian Sandstone Patio Installation

The back patio was installed using Indian sandstone paving, including a 3 metre Indian sandstone circle as a main feature.

This circular patio creates a standout seating area and gives the rear space a more decorative and finished appearance. The natural tones of the Indian sandstone work well with the timber sleepers, planting and surrounding features.

The patio, side access and front entrance were carefully laid and finished to create a consistent look across the full project.

Finished Result

The completed project has transformed the property with a new driveway, improved side access, attractive front entrance, patio and back patio.

The combination of Indian sandstone paving, circular patio features, raised sleeper flower beds, new planting and a newly finished driveway has created a much cleaner and more usable outdoor space.

The full project was completed from start to finish in just five days.
