Complete Front Garden & Driveway Transformation in Halifax
Lakestone Paving recently completed this stunning block paved driveway installation in Halifax, transforming an outdated front garden and narrow concrete pathway into a spacious, modern driveway with exceptional kerb appeal.
The existing driveway consisted of an ageing concrete path with large lawn areas that offered very limited parking space. Our team began by fully excavating the entire front garden, removing the old pathway, grass and existing sub-base before installing a new, reinforced foundation designed to provide long-lasting strength and stability.
Excavation & Ground Preparation
A high-quality MOT Type 1 sub-base was installed and mechanically compacted before laying the new block paving. The driveway was finished using elegant light grey block paving laid in a traditional 90-degree herringbone pattern, complemented by contrasting charcoal border blocks to create a striking, contemporary appearance.
Block Paving Installation
To give the driveway a truly bespoke finish, we incorporated decorative geometric centrepiece features and matching entrance detailing, adding character and enhancing the overall design. The sweeping curved edging follows the existing landscaping beautifully while maximising the available parking area without compromising the property’s attractive front garden.
Final Result
The completed driveway now provides generous off-road parking, excellent durability and a low-maintenance surface that dramatically enhances the property’s appearance and value.
