This huge project in Clitheroe involved a complete transformation of the outdoor space. We had a focus on the functionality and aesthetic appeal. The transformation included a block paved driveway with a herringbone pattern and a stunning porcelain- tiled patio that is complemented by sleeper flower beds.
Driveway Installation
- Block Paving Selection: We used natural grey block paving for the main surface, paired with contrasting charcoal accents to define the edges. These colours complement the home’s exterior while also maintaining a clean and modern look.
- Herringbone Pattern for Strength: The laid was laid in a 45 degree herringbone pattern, which enhances durability and distributes weight evenly. The herringbone pattern prevents the blocks from shifting under vehicle pressure, ensuring long-term stability.
- Defined Border for Polished Finish: To create a clear boundary, we installed contrasting charcoal block edging. This border neatly frames the driveway, boosting visual appeal.
