New Tarmac Driveway Installation
The front of the property was completely excavated and prepared for a brand-new tarmac driveway. After installing a solid sub-base and ensuring the correct levels throughout, we installed stylish block paved edging to frame the driveway and provide a crisp, decorative finish.
To create an even more premium appearance, we incorporated an elegant block paved feature across the entrance, giving the driveway a distinctive design while helping to define the transition from the public footpath to the property.
The new smooth tarmac surface provides a durable, low-maintenance driveway with plenty of parking space, while the contrasting block paving perfectly complements the brickwork of the property and existing front walls.
Complete Indian Sandstone Patio Restoration
The project continued into the rear garden, where the existing Indian sandstone patio had become uneven and tired over time.
Rather than replacing the natural stone, the homeowner chose to preserve it by having the entire patio carefully lifted, the groundwork corrected, and every slab professionally re-laid. This approach retained the character of the original sandstone while giving the patio a completely renewed appearance.
During the restoration, we rebuilt sections of the raised patio, constructed new brick retaining walls and installed new brick steps to improve access between the different garden levels.
A linear drainage system was also installed around the patio to ensure effective surface water management and protect the paving for years to come.
Finally, the sandstone was professionally restored, bringing back its rich natural colours and distinctive texture. The finished patio looks almost like a brand-new installation while retaining the timeless beauty of genuine Indian sandstone.
