Keighley Driveway Transformed
Located in the scenic area of Keighley, this property featured a long lane and a spacious driveway that over time, had become uneven, compacted, and overrun with weeds and moss. The existing surface lacked effective drainage and clear definition, detracting from the home’s overall appearance and practicality. The “before” images clearly show a surface that was difficult to maintain and visually unappealing.
Groundwork & Foundation
The project began with a full excavation of the old surface. To create a robust and visually appealing boundaries, we supplied and fitted timber sleeper retaining edges down both sides of the entire area. Closer to the property, we installed a beautiful border using classic block paving setts, adding a touch of elegance and a clean transition to the house.

Revolutionary Honeycomb Grid System
The cornerstone of this modern driveway installation is the revolutionary honeycomb gravel stabilisation system. This is far from a standard gravel driveway. We install interlocking trays, or grids, that form a strong, cellular base directly beneath the gravel. Each honeycomb cell holds the gravel in place, preventing it from shifting, rutting, or creating bald spots, even under the daily pressure of turning car wheels. Finishing with Limestone Gravel
With the foundation and stabilisation grids in place, the final stage was to lay a heavy duty weed control membrane and apply the surface dressing. We used a high-quality 20mm limestone chipping, which was spread across the entire 300+ square metre area, filling the honeycomb trays. The bright, angular stone complements the property’s exterior and provides a clean, crisp, and durable finish.
